The group has announced that it has won a contract from GB Rail Freight worth £0.4m to fit forward looking CCTV cameras to 50 of its trains with the majority of the contract to be delivered in the current financial year. Forward looking CCTV is proving to be a useful tool in investigating signalling issues, level-crossing, trackside and on track incidents including theft, vandalism and graffiti and the group hopes that it can win additional rail business on the back of this. This is clearly better news for the group as it has lost some business recently – we maintain our recommendation of BUY.
