The leading wholesale delivery business has issued its results for the year to 31 October and these have revealed a slight reduction in profit before tax to £22.4m (2024: £22.5m).  Adjusted earnings per share fell to 25.9p from 30.0p a year before due to an increase in the number of shares in issue.  The figures are largely irrelevant though as the company has agreed to be taken over at 295p per share having received a cash bid of this amount from the US private equity group OEP Capital Advisers.  As the bid . . .
