One of Avanti’s major partners, Hughes Network Systems, has fully allocated its initial purchase of capacity on the HYLAS 1 communications satellite and so, in order to support new business, it has signed a new contract for additional capacity. Avanti now has over 70 customers installing HYLAS 1 services in 14 countries in Europe and the group believes that it has the distribution on place to fully sell out all the HYLAS 1 capacity within its 3 year target. With strong interest also being shown in HYLAS 2, due to be launched in Q2, 2012, the shares remain a BUY.
