18 April 2011 – Litigation Award/Trading Update
The group has been successful in its claim against Space Exploration Technologies Corporation and has been awarded over $7.5m plus interest from the date of the claim. Avanti also successfully commenced full commercial service on its satellite HYLAS 1 on 4 April and is migrating customers onto HYLAS 1 from the leased broadband capacity they were previously using. The group has also reported an increase in orders helped by the successful service launch and further orders now seem likely. The group is at a transitional phase in its development but prospects look exciting and the shares remain a BUY.
