26 November – acquisition
Following the announcement of two days ago, the group has confirmed that it is to acquire Healthcare Australia Holdings Pty Ltd for AU$122.5m (about £75.2m), which will be funded by new debt facilities. The acquisition will broaden the group’s customer base outside the UK and increase the group’s international presence. Although there are concerns at the level of debt that the group is taking on, there are exciting possibilities overseas and for the moment we continue to back the company – BUY.
