25 October 2011 – interim management statement
In the 42 weeks to 20 October the group has reported a modest 0.9% increase in revenues, although this is pretty respectable given last year’s strong performance. The period has benefited from some strong new releases including the most recent Harry Potter film and The Inbetweeners. A new 7 screen cinema is due to open in Leigh next month although as announced previously the negotiations to acquire Spanish chain Cinesur have been terminated. The last quarter of the year will benefit from the latest Johnny English film together with another Mission Impossible and the Spielberg Tintin movie. The shares remain ATTRACTIVE.
