3 March 2026 - final results

The UK and Ireland's largest commercial news publisher has announced its results for the year to 31 December.  These have revealed that 2025 was a difficult year although this had already been flagged.  Revenues for the period declined to £518.4m (2024: £538.6m) with adjusted pre-tax profits rising to £99.7m (2024: £97.2m) for earnings per share of 26.8p (2024: 25.3p).  Print revenue declined by 4.6% to £388.1m with digital revenue down by 0.9% to £128.9m, but the decline in sales was more than matched . . .
