The company has added to its product portfolio with the purchase of 1001, the well-known carpet cleaning brand. The acquisition will cost £1.65m and the company can also purchase inventory at book value with additional contingent consideration of up to £3m depending on future revenue growth. revenues for 1001 in the year to 31 August are expected to be £4.5m with the businesss supplying leading supermarkets such as Tesco and Morrisons as well as stores such as Home Bargains and B&M.
