The motor retailing group has issued an encouraging AGM statement covering trading for the three months to the end of May confirming that it expects full year profits to be in line with expectations. The company has reported growth in new car sales although used car sales are down on a like-for-like basis. The company is adopting a cautious tone with regard to consumer confidence and the industry continues to suffer from the slow take up of electric vehicles and some confusion about the government's intentions in this part of the market . . .
