21st Century, which supplies CCTV to public transport and other vehicle monitoring systems, has been awarded preferred supplier status to supply and maintain CCTV systems for the UK bus companies operated by FirstGroup. The latter has a fleet of 8,000 buses and is the largest bus operator in the UK. The contract is likely to generate significant reveues and profits for 21sr Century and its shares remain a BUY.
