The group has announced that it has agreed to acquire Paperny Entertainment, a leading TV producer operating in Canada and the USA. The acquisition will expand the group’s content rights portfolio as well as increase its exposure to the important North American market. The consideration payable is C$29.2m with C$14.5m being paid in cash and the rest being satisfied by the issue of 2.57m shares in the company. The shares remain a BUY.
