The group has announced that it has secured a position on a four year framework contract with the YPO, a public sector buying organisation, to supply its Steelybin range to YPO’s customers for the first time. YPO’s customers include local authorities, schools, colleges and local government departments and the agreement will enable them to buy directly off Straight if they wish to do so. There are two contractors selected for the framework agreement and this is estimated to be worth £8m over its four year life. The news is further evidence that the progress made by Straight over the last two years in repositioning its business is starting to pay off. BUY.
