30 January 2024 - interim results

The international drinks group has published its interim results for the six months to 31 December and these have shown a decline of 1.4% in revenues to $11.0bn - the fall was partly due to an adverse currency hit of $167m as well as a drop of 0.6% in organic sales. As had been flagged previously, there was a decline in sales in Latin America and the Caribbean of $310m or 23%.  Excluding this region, and the US, where sales also fell by 1.5% net sales were up on the previous year . . .
