29 April 2026 - trading update

The UK's leading provider of package holidays and third largest airline has issued a trading update for the year to 31 March confirming that operating profits for the year will be between £435m and £440m, in line with market expectations.  This is a similar level to last year's figure of £446.5m.  This includes £11m of start up and marketing costs to do with the new base at Gatwick.  The latter only started operations on 26 March but is already performing ahead of initial expectations.  The balance sheet remains strong with net cash . . .
