Lonrho has expanded its John Deere dealership network in Africa, adding Tanzania and South Sudan to its current locations. The group already has exclusive rights to John Deere in Mozambique and Angola where it has seen strong demand for the company’s products as mechanised farming expands. These acquisitions are further evidence that the group can successfully expand in its African heartland and the shares remain a BUY.
