Main Market

In this section we will look for companies that are quoted on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange that appear to offer good value in share price terms.  This could be for a number of reasons.  It may be that we believe that the future prospects for the company are not adequately reflected in the share price.  Share prices often overreact to news, either moving up or dropping back too far.  This news may be company specific, could relate to the industry in which it operates or be general economic news.  Examples include the rise or fall in the oil price, the move towards online retailing,   restrictions on gambling imposed by the regulator and so on.   These moves provide investors with potential opportunities.

Many companies on the Main Market are also simply overlooked by investors.  This is particularly relevant when looking at the smaller companies as these are often under-researched by stockbroking analysts. This lack of research can create investment opportunities for smart investors prepared to look for them.

We aim to highlight these opportunities for you.
