The company has issued a trading update covering the 42 weeks to 22 July.  This has revealed that sales in the period were 10.7% above the same period in 2022 with both food and drink sales being strong.  The latter part of the period saw even better growth helped by the good weather in June with the last 16 weeks reporting revenues 10.9% higher.  The statement proves the resilience of the community pub sector.  The group has trialled a franchise type model in 13 of its food led pubs and the results have . . .
