The UK's largest news wholesaler and a leading provider of early morning delivery services has announced its annual results for the 52 weeks to 30 August.  These have proved very respectable with adjusted pre-tax profits coming in at £35.8m (2024: £33.2m), somewhat higher than our forecast of £33.5m.  Earnings per share on the same basis rose to 11.1p (2024: 10.3p) which again was ahead of our forecast.  The core newspaper and magazine delivery business produced a resilient performance as this is in long term decline, but revenues at . . .
