The motoring and cycling group has announced a trading update following a period of strong trading in the year to date. The company has benefited from the warm weather with additional demand for its products and this has led the group to increase its expectations for the year as a whole. Despite the fact that the second half will see an increase in spending on marketing and technology the group expects underlying pre-tax profits for the year to be between £55m and £65m compared with previous expectations of between £48.9m and £55.1m.
