The UK's leading retailer of greetings cards, gifts and celebration products has issued a disappointing trading update following a poor performance from the company's stores.  As has been highlighted in numerous reports, the uncertainty surrounding the UK economy has had a negative impact on consumer confidence and this has been reflected in lower footfall on the high street.  This disappointing store performance has led to the group reducing its expectations for the financial year to 31 January 2026, with adjusted pre-tax profits now expected to be between £55m and £60m as opposed . . .
