There have been a couple of large share sales recently by directors which we think are worthy of comment.  Firstly, a director of Lloyds Banking Group (95.35p) sold 122,495 shares at 88.8p last week (raising over £108k) whilst yesterday, a director of Vodafone (92.7p) sold 300,000 shares at 95.582p (to raise over £286k).  Shares in both of these companies have risen sharply recently - are these sales a sign that directors believe the shares are now overpriced??  We will see . . .
