The company has entered into an agreement to sell the majority of its conventional cash handling businesses to The Brink’s Company for an enterprise value of £727m. G4S will receive net cash proceeds of approximately £670m and assign around £60m of net liabilities to Brink’s. This appears to be a sensible deal. BUY.
